The person behind the code.
I'm in my second year at zapfloor, where most of my time goes into replacing an old operator system with a new one built in Nuxt, Vue, PrimeVue and Tailwind. I've settled deepest into reporting — office occupancy, desk bookings, incidents, billing. The kind of reports where the numbers have to be right, because somebody actually makes decisions from them. Besides writing code I help work out how new features should behave, and now and then I get to do some technical design.
My own projects start the other way round. First something annoys me — a gallery too slow to scroll, a fuel receipt nobody can split — and before long there's a repository.
